Capstan House is a prestige office development in East India Dock. The building is a multi-tenanted building run by management company EID ltd. Previously, the reception was open plan, and during peak times staff were struggling to keep track of personnel and visitor flows, with obvious implications for security in such a high profile location. Techparc supplied and installed 2 lanes of glass Speedgates with 2 DDA pass gates in the reception area. The gates use a proximity card access control system based on a PC server and workstation at the main reception, controlling both entry and exit. The system was delivered to schedule and budget in cooperation with our access control partner, J Durrance Ltd.
